Egypt: This is what I saw

Went to Egypt sometime end of last year.
It was a fairly big deal for me photographically because it was the first big trip that I did after shooting film again.
Also, these images that you see here are from the very first rolls of film that I have ever developed in my life. I am just glad they all turned out reasonably well.

Never got around to really sort and arrange the images for viewing until today.
Better late than never I guess.

Blowhole

Blowhole, Bicheno, Tasmania.

Bicheno is a town on the east coast of Tasmania. The town is primarily a fishing port and also a seaside resort.
It is definitely worth a nights stay. A town with beautiful seaside and not to mention the little penguin colony on adjacent Diamond Island (you can make your way across on foot during low tide) and of course… the blowhole.

Cape Barren Goose

The Cape Barren Goose (cereopsis novaehollandiae) is a large goose resident in southern Australia.

These are bulky geese and their almost uniformly grey plumage, bearing rounded black spots, is unique. The tail and flight feathers are blackish and the legs are pink with black feet. The short, decurved black bill and green cere gives it a very peculiar expression.

Once considered a threatened species, the Cape Barren Goose was introduced to Maria Island in 1968 to start a safety population.
Now they roam freely around the island.

Film used was Tri-X rated at ISO 200 and developed in Rodinal 1:50.
It was a gloomy day and the fact that I am pulling to ISO 200 certainly accentuates the ambience.
