Mixed myself a fresh batch of Ilford Rapid Fixer – hhmmpphhhh the reassuring smell of ammonia hah.
Developed 2 rolls of Tri-X.
Tried Rodinal 1:75 this time around instead of my usual 1:50. Can’t wait to see the end result.
Listened to Jimmy Smith’s Moonlight In Vermont in my ‘Darkroom’

The Nut is a volcanic plug. It is the most distinctive landmark in Stanley, Tasmania.
This image was taken using my Leica 35mm lens from the 1960s @ f1.4. I really like how this lens renders wide open.

Picture Maria, Maria Island, Tasmania.

Maria Island is such a magical and peaceful place.
It is a mountainous island off the east coast of Tasmania and the entire island is a national park.
There are no permanent inhabitants other than a few park rangers.

Image shot with my first roll Fuji Acros 100 and developed in Rodinal.
Great tones and really sharp film. Almost grainless which is not necessarily an advantage for me ;)

Puddle Ducks

Puddle ducks, Romaine Reserve, Burnie.

A great park for a slow Sunday morning stroll.
There is a walking track that winds around a dam on Romaine creek. Domestic and wild fowls abound.

For this shot, I used Tri-X pushed to ISO1600 and souped in Rodinal. Great tonal range with much less grain than expected.
