Table Cape taken during the blue hour.

Table Cape is in the Waratah-Wynyard municipality in North West Tasmania, a short drive away from the coastal township of Wynyard. Geologically speaking, it is a large volcanic plug. Most of the area is used for farming and rural residential use.

Port Arthur is a small town and former convict settlement on the Tasman Peninsula, in Tasmania, Australia. It is one of Australia’s most significant heritage areas and the open air museum is officially Tasmania’s top tourist attraction. Known for its harsh conditions, dark history and stark beauty, it is located approximately 60 km south east of the state capital, Hobart.

Saw this gentleman from afar while driving across the Forestier Peninsula. The tide was low and thus the unique striated beach. Was curious what he was doing at such a great distant out from the coastline. So i approached him…… 

It turned out that he was combing the beach for clams. There were literally millions and millions of them…. fresh and free!!! I was so amazed.
