This was shot in Alexandria along the waterfront overlooking the Mediterranean sea – a great promenade full of life and colour.
Also, I am finally listed on CoolPhotoblogs :)

Well guess what…… don’t think i’ll be getting internet at home anytime soon. The ‘phone guys’ claims that I will have to wait till the 26th of March before they can dig the ground and get the cables done.
Why 26th of March…… beats me.
Why they still need to get the cabling done when I have houses all around me – some of which has already been there for 20 years – with phone connections……. beats the hell out of me.

Traditional Egyptian dance called Tanura. Lots of spinning around !!!
PS: Updates will be rather erratic over the next week or two because i am in the midst of moving and it’ll take a while to set up the phone/internet at the new place. So bear with me…….
At work but not too busy at the moment…….
So far, I have only been shooting ISO 400 B & W films. Great for general purpose but the trade off , you get rather unpredictable results especially if the contrast of the scene is very high (which, thankfully is not very often for me).
Cambodia was sunny, Egypt was very sunny….. wasn’t too impressed with a few of the shots.
Thus, I am currently experimenting with some ISO 100 B & W films. But which ones?
I bought 2 rolls of Fuji Acros 100 and 2 rolls of Rollei Retro 100. Currently shooting my first roll of Rollei Retro 100. Can’t wait to finish the roll and see the result. I’ve heard that Rollei Retro 100 and Rodinal yields superb ‘old time’ images.
For this trip, I brought along 54 rolls of film. Mainly TriX and Fuji Reala. Some XP2 and Fuji Pro 400H.
Shot a total of 32 rolls of film only. I certainly did not try to ‘save’ film. Just shot whenever I felt like. Interesting because I expected to shoot more than 32. Note to self – make conscious effort to shoot more perhaps =D
Anyeways, leaving KL soon. Here are some colour shots with the Olympus XA (such a wonderful camera everybody should have one!!!) and Fuji Pro 400H
