“The Hazards” as seen from Coles Bay. Here is another view of the jagged mountains from an earlier post.

Freycinet is a national park on the east coast of Tasmania. It contains part of the rugged Tasmanian coastline and includes the secluded Wineglass Bay, voted by several travel authorities as one of the world’s ten best beaches.

Famous features of the park includes it’s red and pink granite formations and a series of jagged granite peaks in a line, called “The Hazards.” Founded in 1916, Freycinet is Tasmania’s oldest park, along with Mt Field National Park.

Jiun - Is this original or you have adjusted the colour brightness and contrast ? The view is IMPRESSIVE! especially the mountain and the sky! nice shot ;D

Ferraby - I increased the colour saturation a little to enhance the orangy hue of the lichen covered rock. I see the world in Vivid !! :D
Otherwise it is pretty much as shot. This image was taken right after sunrise so there is less tendency for the sky to be overexposed.
